Spreading The Gospel Through Correspondence Courses
“Believers are called to be bridges that span the gap between the experience of isolation and a life of divine acceptance.”
Quote from Allistair Begg truthforlife.org
The statement above is the purpose of Set Free Prison Ministry and why you, the readers, are so important in joining us to reach out to the inmates in Colorado and adjoining state prisons and jails.
Thank you for your interest in Set Free, your prayers for the inmates and for your financial support to Set Free.
Zacharie writes in gratitude:
“I am writing this note to express my deep gratitude to you for the beautiful comments and words of encouragement you have been sending to me along with the graded exams.
You truly help me to make a step forward into a better understanding of the studied subjects.
Thank you very much for all you do to guide and support the learner that I am.”
God bless you in all
and Darcy writes:
“I was sinning, but when I read the Bible, I began to stop and get rid of those old habits. Once I read the Bible it didn’t leave me there sinning but took me along the path that led to God. “
Randy wrote:
I want to take the time to say thank you for participating in my salvation and my healthy future with my family and God. I don’t know you, I may never meet you But thank you and God bless.
In response to “Why is the Bible important in your life?” Frank responds:
“The Bible is my guide strength and my teacher. This is the one thing that has not disappointed me and helped me in so many times of need.”
Dontay writes in a letter:
“I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to join in this study to grow in my walk with Jesus Christ. I have to say I’m so thankful for all the doors He has been opening for me by giving
over to His care. I still struggle with a lot but I know by His hands He’s going to see me through it all. I ask that you keep me in your prayers.
I lost my best friend who was murdered the morning I came into jail which I’m here for trying to protect him and others who was killed too. I have to admit my life was unmanageable so I’m
thankful to be here to find peace which God has given me. I would be thankful as well if you would pray for others like me who life are being saved by this. God bless”
Andrea received Christ while doing the lesson, God’s Word is Truth.
Also pray for our students that they may stand strong in their faith and continue with Bible study.
Director’s Comments
In a few weeks we will be celebrating the independence day ( July 4 th ). I like to think of the
men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedom we enjoy today. I also pray for
those who are in uniform serving this country and our communities to protect us and our
freedom each and every day. A big thank you to each and every one of them.
But there is another freedom we as believers enjoy in Christ Jesus. That is the freedom from
the bondage of sin.
“ .. and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. “ John 8:32
“ So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. “ John 8:36.
We often receive testimonies of incarcerated men and women who have received this freedom
because they put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Praise be to God.
Again, I thank you all for your part in this ministry that God has entrusted in us through your
faithful prayers and financial support.
“Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe,
Sin had left a Crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. “ Elvina M. Hall
Amen !
