FORGIVENESS

We can’t find words adequate enough to express our gratefulness for the forgiveness offered to us by our pure and holy God. When we think of the activities of our old sin nature and the results that are so offensive to a holy God, we can only say, the forgiveness God offers every sinner who repents and turns to Christ is because of His great grace.

Consider what the Bible tells us about our old sin nature in Galatians 5:16-21. The flesh, or sin nature, cannot obey God nor can it live for Him. As believers we are constantly in a tug of war between the Spirit abiding within (at the time of our salvation) and our sinful natures. God also tells us that if we practice and live in sin (as a way of life), we cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.
